Capital city of Japan

WHY TOKYO?

Tokyo, between tradition and ultramodern

Tokyo is a city that inspires the senses. Whether from its more futuristic side, full of neon, technological attractions and streets that look like an urban fashion parade, or from its more traditional side, with its gardens, palaces and vestiges of the Edo period, for example. Everything about it is superlative.

Tokyo is famous for its fashion and shopping areas, which include the fashionable shopping districts of Harajuku and Shibuya, as well as the luxury flagship stores of Ginza.

Shinjuku is a thriving commercial district, combining gleaming skyscrapers and lively alleyways filled with small bars. Asakusa is the heart of central Tokyo, with ancient temples and traditional shops.

Tokyo is a foodie paradise with more Michelin-starred restaurants than any other city in the world, along with hundreds of affordable and delicious ramen shops.

CAFES

My favourite cafes in Tokyo

Honey Toast Cafe is a community cafe where you can enjoy a "special version" of Pasela's famous honey toast topped with fluffy handmade bread. In a spacious space with sunlight shining all over the window, they serve their signature homemade and freshly baked honey toast. Enjoy it with plenty of honey!
